one fine day

I received a couple of surprises, surprisingly pleasant ones (after such a very very veeery long time) today.  i stayed home the whole day after breaking out into an allergic rash with 2 legs which required me not only to stay home, but inside a cooled, air conditioned room — in summer time! Wee! 

so i was in bed, not wanting to watch any nonsense on TV, i opened my laptop (thank God for technology) and well, visited my sites, friendster, multiply and, of course, wordpress, among other things. While there is some ’stalker’ effect to these sites, so what?! i just want to connect and reconnect with friends, family and even enemies…(beware).  and reconnect i did!  and it’s such a delight! we exchanged messages, reminisce over how we were 2 decades ago, and joked about how she has wanted me to marry one of her nephews. oh, it was fun. i look forward now to giggling and smiling about the past and talking wisdom about the future with tita sylvia.

I was asked a rather awkward question by my husband this morning before he left for work. i say awkward because, well, it was unexpected. plus the fact that i felt that he wanted to ask something else. but what came out of his mouth was; gusto mo …..(pause)….ng pasalubong?  huh? i thought. and just when i thought that i just said that in my head, i didn’t. i actually did say HUH?  he chuckled. either because of the question or because i questioned it. but he said it again, gusto mo ng pasalubong later? i can’t seem to remember if i answered or not. so, he left. and a few hours later, he asked me again thru text. i said, You. mushy i know. but he started it. so, i’m waiting for my pasalubong any time now.

to wrap this up, God sent me his love. it rained the whole afternoon. and i love the rain.
