n. fearful or uneasy anticipation of the future

i’m a little overwhelmed about what’s to come. too many hats, too soon. i don’t exactly know whether to embrace it wholeheartedly or resent it. but there seem to be no turning back. sink or swim. i can feel the under current tow.

i just want to be happy. please.
